Newborn sleep changes very quickly in the first 3 months of life. In my approach to handling newborns, this is the time when your baby needs high level of nurturing, bonding and building secure attachment with you.
I don’t recommend starting your baby on any rigid schedule or introduce independent sleep at this stage because their sleep pattern will change again when they hit their sleep maturity around 4 months old. This “4 month old sleep regression” is a permanent one, so that’s when you can start encouraging healthy sleep habits so that the regression does not become a long term sleep issue.
I also feel that nothing that you do now would create “bad habits”. You will not spoil the baby by carrying them all the time for naps, breastfeeding, rocking or soothing them all the way to sleep for example.

“Mini” Consult (RM299)
This package is intended for a family who had just welcomed their newborn and may find it a struggle without additional help from an extended family or confinement lady around sleep.
This package can also be used for families who wish to have 1:1 time to troubleshoot one particular frustration area of their child’s sleep. This is meant for correcting minor sleep issues, and is not a replacement for a full sleep consultation program.
It is also perfect for families who have taken up the full consultation program in the past, and would like to have a another consult session for troubleshooting (used for the same child that we have previously worked with).
This package consists of:
- 1 hour Skype/FaceTime or phone consultation
- Email support – 3 follow up emails to be used the same week

AnnouncementI’m on my maternity leave and will be back to work officially from 9th January 2018 onwards.
I am taking on clients for Skype/FaceTime consultations for now, but all other in-home consultations with support will resume next year.
There will also be a raise by 15-20% in my fees starting 1st January 2018 .
